Thordarson Eagle Returns Home

The Friends of Rock Island in coordination with Park Manger, Brian Grube, welcomed the Thordarson Eagle home to the boathouse on Rock Island in May 2024. The friends group funded a special museum quality table and case, custom built for the Thordarson Eagle from Buechner Carpentry & Woodworking. Several volunteers, Brian Grube, and Greg Buechner assisted in the installation.
